Dr. Vijay Bhagia graduated from dental school at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He attained his master’s degree in orthodontics from the University of Detroit Mercy. He is a Board certified orthodontist, a distinction that very few practicing orthodontists receive. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southwestern Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association. the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Association of Orthodontists and the Bay Area Study Club.

Dr. Bhagia provides continuing education classes for dentists, hygienists and other health professionals. He spends 50-100 hours each year in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthodontics, so his patients receive the very best care possible.

Dr. Bhagia sponsors scholarships at many local schools to encourage students. He and his staff also visit local schools frequently to speak to students regarding oral hygiene and career opportunities in dentistry and orthodontics. Students interested in pursuing dentistry as a career are invited to visit our office and observe Dr. Bhagia and his team at work to help their decision making process.

Dr. Bhagia and his wife Preity live in Friendswood. He enjoys traveling, golf, tennis and spending time with his family in his spare time.
