The Invisible Way to Straighten Your Teeth - Invisalign!

Dr. Vijay Bhagia specializes in Invisalign®, the clear way to straighten your teeth. Invisalign clear aligners straighten your teeth without the use of tradition orthodontic wires and brackets, and instead uses a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. These aligners are virtually invisible, which means that the chances of anyone will know that you're straightening your teeth. Located in Clear Lake, Texas Dr. Bhagia is an Elite Provider of Invisalign, which means he is amongst the top 1% of Invisalign Providers in the entire world and is highly qualified to help create that beautiful smile you've always dreamed of

How Does Invisalign Actually Work?

Step 1: Talk to an Invisalign Provider During your consultation both you and Dr. Bhagia will discuss your case in detail to see if you're a good candidate for Invisalign. Invisalign does address many orthodontic cases, but Dr. Bhagia will determine if Invisalign is really the right step for your orthodontic treatment.

Step 2: Create a 3-D Image of Your Teeth Next Dr. Bhagia will take x-rays, pictures and iTero 3D digital impressions of your teeth and bite. This will allow Invisalign to create a digital 3-D image of them, and will allow Dr. Bhagia to map out a treatment plan customized to you, including the exact movements of your teeth. Using this same technology.

Step 3: Wearing Your Custom Aligners Once you receive your personalized aligners simply wear them throughout the day, and remove them only when it is time to eat or to brush and floss your teeth as normal. As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually shift into their needed position. And because Invisalign is virtually invisible, most people won't even know that you're wearing them. So you're correcting your smile in the most discrete way possible.

Step 4: Approximately every two weeks, you will begin wearing a new set of aligners, which will allow you to move to the next stage of your orthodontic treatment. To keep track of your progress, you will also have occasional office visits to see Dr. Bhagia, which is common step with any orthodontic treatment.

Step 5: Seeing Your New Smile While every patient's orthodontic needs are a little different, average treatment time for adults are about 1 year. For our teen patients, the length of time is about the same as braces. To make sure you stay on track with your treatment time, you should wear your aligners for 20 – 22 hours per day.
